Emergency
For over nine years Black Planet has specialised in dedicated and embedded photography to UK Police Forces, Fire Fighting agencies, Emergency and Rescue Services including Marine Coastguard Agency, Mountain and Cave Rescue, RNLI, VOSA and the Armed Forces.
Much of the work is of a highly sensitive and confidential nature. Many of the assignments undertaken are used for such purposes as evidence gathering, intelligence de-briefs, internal staff training and power point presentations to other bodies.
Black Planet has been entrusted to cover such diverse subjects as
Police drug and crime operations including cannabis factory raids, firearms training, and major incident exercises.
Included in our work are assignments undertaken on independent forensic and crime-scene work for solicitors, barristers, detective agencies and local authorities. These range from incident scene photographs, post mortem images, and physical assault injuries in criminal cases and civil compensation claims.
The photographs displayed in this section have been cleared for publication by the agencies concerned and have already been published in the public domain. However, due to the confidential nature of the work, and to protect the confidentiality of the forces and public involved, details of locations and circumstances under which each image was taken has not been disclosed.
Letters of commendation and endorsements for the excellence of this work have been received from Assistant Chief Constables, Fire Commanders and members of the civilian resilience departments across the UK.
