31/08/2009 The Annual Bog Snorkelling Championships

Deep in the heart of the mid-Wales countryside, a rare breed of folk from all over the world gathered together to don snorkel, flippers and wacky clothing for the annual Llanwrtyd Wells Bog Snorkelling championships.

Snorkel and flippers were actually needed outside the bog too this year but the lashingly wet Welsh rain didn't dampen spirits and everyone from competitors, audience to Black Planet photographers, had an amazing amount of fun taking part or watching the event with smiling faces. Totally mad but brilliant!
